Kompositionen & Arrangements

VIEL FREUDE DABEI!

Stimmen von Chorleiter*innen

I like the way your music speaks to me. (Tove Ramlo-Ystad, Trondheim)

My dear friend Christian Bährens is an exceptional composer and choral artist. It is humbling indeed to be able to give the world premier of this hauntingly beautiful masterpiece "Hear my prayer". (Brian Stevens, Buffalo)

I like your choral music very much! I don't have my own choir at the moment, but I would immediately choose a piece which fits in the program. Your sense for sound, your colourful musical language with convicing connection to the harmonic structures, beautiful atmospheric moments and the smooth vocal lines are specially appealing and outstanding in your music. (Prof. Reiner Schuhenn, Germany)

"Fear no more" is absolutely stunning! (Justin Rubin, American composer and Professor of Music)

Congratulations for the „Deutsches Requiem“! Not only for the wonderfully sounding music, but also for the very beautiful texts! (Ilkka Kuusisto, Finnish composer)

Such a stunning use of the voices (Ave Maria SSAA) to create a haunting, beautiful texture! (Euan Tait)

Your music is lovely!  For sure I will keep it in mind for future projects. (Kelly Galbraith, Canada)

When we rehearsed your Magnificat for the first time, we were totally smitten by it! (Norunn Giske, Norway)

Congratulations on your composition "O Nata Lux", which is fantastic! Wow, what an interpretation - I believe you have felt extremely happy with this interpretation. Bravo!
(Memli Kelmendi, composer and conductor, Kosovo)

Beautiful harmonies, rhythm close to the words and not predictable, and easy to listen to and to enjoy. I shall love to work with this music.  (Emma Undemar, Sweden)

Thank you very much for sharing such valuable musical gift! (Aarne Saluveer, Estonia)

I am very happy about our cooperation, your "O nata lux" is very beautiful and sounds wonderful - we are looking forward to new pieces from you!
(Mara Marnauza, conductor of the world premier with BALTA, Latvia)

I already see a number of pieces to be included in the repertoire of my chorus in the future. (Aira Birzina, Latvia)

It has been a pleasure to read and listen to your interesting, rhythmical and vocally smooth compositions. Contemporary music which pays respect to the traditional choral music - I really like it!  (Biljana Wittstock, Germany)
