Birds of Passage (for female choir a cappella)

This composition on a poem by Henry W. Longfellow was written for Brian Stevens and his female choir VOX LUSCINIAE and was premiered by them April 2024 in Buffalo/USA as part of their concert project "An explosion of being". In the piece onomatpoeia is used to make the flight of passing birds audible.  The score is published by NORSK MUSIKKFORLAG and can be roamed and ordered here: BIRDS
